Ume Amaretto Oath

There was a time in Japan when viewing Ume blossoms — Japanese plum blossoms — was more highly cherished than the now-famous Sakura, or cherry blossoms. Ume blossoms symbolize “elegance” and “grace.” The fruit of the Ume is eaten as pickled plum. Amaretto, a slightly bitter liqueur, harmonizes beautifully with a variety of aromas. In this composition, the Japanese plum “falls in love” with Amaretto, creating a delicious fusion of Japanese and Western fragrance culture.
